After seeing the OnePlus 2, its only natural to expect the OnePlus 3. According to Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, Chinese tech giants are expected to launch the next OnePlus smartphone which would be known as the OnePlus 3 at the end of the second quarter of 2016. The OnePlus 3 smartphone is rumoured to be equipped with such features and specifications that it can rival other smartphones and join in the battle for the best phones of 2016. The Chinese manufacturer promises a new design that will captivate users as much as the initial OnePlus One did.

Latest OnePlus 3 rumours suggest that the smatphone is less than 2 weeks from being unveiled. Information we’ve gathered says that the OnePlus 3 might be unveiled on 18th May, 2016 while sales should commence by early June.

OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau has been psoting pictures which we believe were taken using the OnePlus 3’s camera, if this be the case then the OnePlus 3 is very near completion.

OnePlus 3 Rumours: Price

GizmoChina suggests that the OnePlus 3 will come with a 1,999 Yuan price tag for the 3GB RAM model with 32GB of internal storage, a price which converts to about $310. The rumoured 4GB model with 64GB internal storage would be priced slightly higher up to $385.

OnePlus 3 rumours suggest that the flagship would spot an all new design, one that would be so captivating, it’ll win the heart of many users like the very first model of the flagship – OnePlus One did. The new design would mean that the OnePlus 3 would look totally different from the OnePlus 2 in terms of physical structure.

Even though the OnePlus 2 sold more than the OnePlus One, Co-founder Pei pointed out that it was glaring obvious that the OnePlus One was a more captivating phone than its successor, the OnePlus Two. The OnePlus 3 promises to give users that same feeling they had when they first saw the OnePlus One and even more.

It is said that there’ll be a 4GB RAM model with a 32GB internal storage and a 6GB RAM model with 64GB internal storage, other rumours suggest that there might even be a model with 128GB internal storage.

OnePlus 3 Rumours: Benchmark Leak

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor would mean a better performance and better battery efficiency for the OnePlus 3 to support the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Adreno 530 GPU that is expected to be equipped on this flagship. Mobile Dad suggests that the OnePlus 3 will be equipped with a full HD display (1080p).

Recent OnePlus 3 rumours from GizmoChina suggest that it will feature Oppo’s VOOC fast-charging technology, which could charge its 3500mAh battery in just 15 minutes!

Despite being a young company, the Chinese Smartphone manufacturers at the launch of their very first smartphone – OnePlus One – were able to compete favourably with other top notch smartphone manufacturers in the market including the Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G3.
