As has become the tradition of Tech Giants Apple, we have been conditioned to expect a new flagship from the company every September.

Here’s all the rumour we’ve gathered so far about the Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone, including specifications, features, release date and price.
The unveiling of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus caused a frenzy on the internet; it was one of the most anticipated phones in the year 2015. We indeed cannot wait till the iPhone 7 and 7 plus are unveiled. Already there is a lot of expectations and speculations.
iPhone 7 Rumours: Release Date
If you study trend in recent years, you can almost certainly predict when the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be unveiled.
12th September 2012 saw the unveiling of the iPhone 5, with the iPhone 5s and 5c unveiled on 10th September, 2013. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were unveiled on the 9th of September, 2014 while the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus were unveiled on the 9th of September, 2015.
Need I a soothsayer to tell when the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be unveiled? I think not. You’ll notice that Apple has always chosen Tuesdays or Wednesdays as its unveiling days.
We should expect to see the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus on one of the following dates: 6th, 7th, 13th or 14th September; and if I must pick one date it’ll be 13th September.
iPhone 7 Rumours: Price
Apple in its last two iPhone releases has surprisingly kept the price the same. If this is a trend to go buy, then we can expect the 16GB iPhone 7 to cost £539, the 64GB model to cost £619 and 128GB model to cost £699.
There are also rumours that Apple would ditch the 16GB model and have the least iPhone 7 start at 32GB, there are also suggestions that a 256GB iPhone 7 model would be introduced.
These are bits of rumours and should only be taken with a healthy pinch of salt until they are confirmed; we’ll tell you more when we know more.
iPhone 7 Rumours: Design and Build
The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus did not look any different from the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, this has always been the case of the ‘S’ models. However, we expect to see a change in design of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
We expect to see a bigger size of iPhone, we might just have the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus come in 5in and 5.7in respectively.
We also expect that the new upgrade to 2GB RAM which we saw in the 6s and 6s Plus to stay the same in the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. We also expect that it would feature the Apple A10 processor as well as the M10 co-processor.
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are likely to come in Gold, Silver, Rose Gold and Grey colours and is expected to feature a reversible USB charger.
iPhone 7 Rumours: Display
There are certain rumours that suggest that the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus would have sidewall display. In 2015, Apple published a patent and described a design similar to what we have in the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Plus. The rumour about the sidewall display is centered on this patent.
There are also rumours that the iPhone 7 will feature edge-to-edge display, not only will the screen cover the whole of the front surface, but there will actually be display.
Another rumour that we would really appreciate if it comes to be is the Touch ID Display. The new touch ID display would mean that the fingerprint sensor which used to lie beneath the Home button would now be built into the entire display. Cool, yeah?
A recent announcement by Sonovation makes this really possible. Sonovation has found a way to put biometric sensors beneath a Gorilla Glass Display and have it read fingerprints even when the finger is dirty, oily or even wet.
Sonovation didn’t state which device will premiere this technology, but we’ll love to see it on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
According to Android Authorithy, Samsung is currently working on a new flexible OLED display for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus and could feature a glasses-free 3D display.
iPhone 7 Rumours: Camera
We saw an improvement in the iPhone camera with the launch of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus; we expect that the 12MP camera will remain the same in the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus and we really hope to see an improvement in the screen resolution.
iPhone 7 Rumours: Software
There isn’t a lot to say about the software, but we should expect that the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus would be preloaded with the Apple iOS 10 or what others refer to as iOS X. The iOS 10 is expected to be unveiled at the WWDC event in June 2016.
iPhone 7 Rumours: Wireless Headphones?
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus might feature a whole new type of headphone. According to Apple insider, D Jack – new slimmer headphone technology has been patented by Apple. This would mean that older accessories might not be compatible with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
There are even rumours that suggest that the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus would have no headphone jack at all. The rumours got so strong that over 280,000 users have already signed an online petition, hoping that they can stop Apple from removing the headphone jack.
Recent rumour has it that Apple would supply new headphones that would connect to the iPhone 7 via lightning connector instead of the regular headphone jack.
Rumours have it that Apple is woking on headphones that would be so completely wireless that there won’t even be a wire connecting the right and the left bud. The wireless headphones are expected to connect with the iPhone 7 via Bluetooth.
Music is an integral part of Apple, we can only hope for the best.
iPhone 7 Rumours: Waterproof
The waterproof feature is one which many smartphone flagship competitors have taken advantage of. We expect that Apple would make the iPhone 7 and 7Plus waterproof protected. In 2015, Apple was said to have patented a new technology to make future iPhones waterproof.
Since we didn’t see the feature in the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, we are hopeful it would be one of the main features of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
iPhone 7 Rumours: e-SIM
An e-SIM is a virtual equivalent of the traditional SIM card. With an e-SIM switching between operators and roaming would be much easier as you would be able to do this without having to remove or insert any physical SIM card.
It is expected that the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will feature the e-SIM, there are rumours flying around that suggests this, and if it happens we’ll surely welcome it.
Talk about Apple iPhones, then you talk about quality. iPhones have always lived up to hype, as a matter of fact, its very difficult to make a switch to another phone once you start using an iPhone. The iPhone 7 is still a few months away from reality, but i’m in love with it already, you can be sure to get more updates as more facts are revealed.
